An online peer community
Eating disorder recovery doesn't have to be a solo thing.
Everyday Recovery is an online community for adults in eating disorder recovery. Talk about the hard stuff, swap dinner ideas, laugh about your day, and connect with people who actually get it.
14 days free, then $19/month. Cancel anytime.
Does this sound familiar?
Every conversation about food somehow turns into diet advice.
You'd love friendships that aren't only about your eating disorder.
Some days you want to talk about recovery. Other days you want to talk about literally anything else.
And, you're tired of explaining yourself.
If you can relate, pull up a chair.
Welcome to the club
You know that feeling when you meet someone who just gets it? That's what we're building here.
Everyday Recovery was created by the team behind Balanced Nutrition Therapy. We know recovery doesn't only happen in appointments. It happens at the dinner table, in friendships, on difficult Tuesdays, and in all the little moments between sessions.
So we made a place for those moments. A place to share a win, vent about a rough day, ask what everyone's having for lunch, or chat about the show you can't stop watching.
Jump into a conversation, stop by a virtual hangout, or just read along for a while. Show up however feels right.
Who knows? You might even meet your next best friend here.
Inside the community
What happens here
Real conversations, every day
Daily prompts and conversation starters about recovery and about everyday life. Share a win, ask a question, vent about a rough morning, or debate the best fall snack. Some threads go deep. Some are about your dog. Both are welcome.
Food decisions, made easier
Sometimes figuring out what to eat is the hardest part. Swap recipes, share your go-to meals and snacks, and borrow a little inspiration from people who get it on the days your brain is done deciding.
Meal and snack support from your people
Members often team up for virtual meal or snack support. Post that you'd love some company for lunch, and someone who understands can sit with you through it.
Clinician-moderated community space
The Commons is our virtual drop-in space, moderated by recovery coach Deborah Hinds, NDTR, Peer Support Specialist. Pop in face-to-face, say hi, and connect with Deborah and other members in real time.

Community guidelines
A safe space to show up
Everyday Recovery is peer-led, with professional care behind the scenes. Dietitians and Deborah regularly read through the community, step into conversations, and ensure this remains a safe space to work through recovery. (They're here as community members, so no one gives clinical advice here, staff included.)
Every member agrees to a few simple things when they join:
Keep it private. What's shared here stays here. No screenshots or sharing anyone's info.
Be kind. Treat each other with respect, always.
Leave diet culture at the door. No calories, weights, measurements, meal plans, body comparisons, or "good" and "bad" food labels.
Support without fixing. Listen, encourage, and cheer each other on. Medical, nutrition, and mental health advice stays with your care team.
Keep it recovery-supportive. No glorifying eating disorder behaviors and no detailed descriptions of behaviors or self-harm.
No selling. This is a space for connection, so no advertising.
Our moderators may remove content or members to keep the community safe for everyone.

Who it's for
Everyday Recovery is for adults who are serious about their recovery and ready to connect with people who get it.
Our community is for those who are:
- 18 or older and live anywhere in the U.S.
- Working with a treatment team, or not. Either way, you're welcome here.
- Steady enough to look after yourself day to day and to share in ways that keep the space safe for others.
- Desire to recover, and ready to keep showing up for it.
Community support, with care for the bigger picture
Everyday Recovery is a place for connection, and it works best alongside clinical support. It doesn't replace individualized eating disorder treatment.
The community isn't monitored around the clock, so in a crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline any time, day or night.
For clinicians and loved ones
For clinicians
Your clients spend 167 hours a week outside your office.
Everyday Recovery gives them somewhere to land in those hours: daily connection with peers, a little company around meals, and weekly time to get extra support from Deborah, an Eating Disorder Recovery Coach.
Members keep working with their own treatment team, and no one in the community gives clinical advice, staff included. Your care plan stays yours. We're simply adding more connections around it.

For loved ones
Watching someone you love go through recovery is a lot.
You want them to have support when they need it, but you can't be everywhere at once.
Membership is for adults in recovery, so the best way to help is to share this page with them and let them decide whether it feels like a fit. They'll find people who understand, on their own terms and at their own pace.

Your questions, answered
Something else on your mind? Email everydayrecovery@bntllc.com.
Do I need to be in treatment to join?
Nope. Members can work with any treatment team, or none at all right now. You're welcome either way.
Can Everyday Recovery replace my treatment?
Everyday Recovery is a peer community built for connection. It's a wonderful addition to your support, and it doesn't replace individualized eating disorder treatment.
Can I get nutrition or mental health advice here?
No one in the community gives medical, nutrition, or mental health advice, including our staff. That keeps the focus on connection and keeps clinical questions with your care team. Want more individual support? Deborah offers 1:1 meal support and recovery coaching, and members get a discount.
Do I have to share my story or show up on a schedule?
Not at all. Post every day, drop into The Commons once a week, or read along until you're ready. You share what feels comfortable, when it feels comfortable.
Who can see what I post?
Everything happens in a private space for members only. Everyone agrees to keep what's shared here private, with no screenshots or sharing anyone's info. The BNT dietitians and Deborah read along to keep the space safe.
Where do members live?
All over! Everyday Recovery is online and open to adults 18 and older anywhere in the U.S.
What happens after my free trial?
After 14 days, your membership continues at $19/month on the card you added at signup. You can cancel anytime, including before your trial ends.
What if I'm in a crisis?
Please call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7. The community isn't monitored around the clock, and you deserve immediate support in those moments.
Ready to find your people?
Recovery is part of your life. It doesn't have to be your whole life.
Come as you are. Connect when you can.
